Run Sequence
In 2023 I decided to make a stop frame running man sequence using a infra red camera trigger to capture the different phases of the running cycle. The figure is shown running but is always in the same place. I used the subsequent film clip to project the running man from a turntable in my sitting room. I always envisaged the work displayed in a gallery with the figure running around the walls. This work has not been shown publicly. The image sequence also triggered a handful of other stop motion film ideas but remains unresolved.
